Progression Routes

This qualification covers the knowledge units which are part of the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and is, therefore, the perfect stepping stone for those wishing to progress onto this qualification.

Fee Information

To be eligible for government funded subsidised fees for this course you must:

• Be aged 19 or over as at 31 August 2019
• Lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
• Must currently reside in England

You could be eligible for up to 100% reduction in published fees, dependent on the level of the qualification that you choose.  This will be discussed with you when you apply.

If you are not eligible for the 100% Fee remission, you will be required to pay the standard costs, or in the case of Level 3, you could apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

You might be able to apply for Discretionary Support Funds to help support these costs, please enquire at the time of Application.

Additional Information

Learners will be required to take part in an interview to assess suitability. The qualification operates on a roll on/roll off basis so learners can begin at any point in the year. Evidence is submitted via on-line portfolios. Evidence is assessed against external standards by internal assessment.
